Pendidikan Akhlak Dalam Perspektif Pemikiran Syekh Az-Zarnuji ( Studi Analisis Kitab Ta’lim Muta’allim)

Abstract

Islamic education is an individual and social arrangement that can cause a person to
submit to Islam and apply it perfectly in the lives of individuals and society. Education is the process of
changing the attitudes and behavior of a person or group of people in an effort to mature humans
through teaching and training which consists of educators and students. A teacher is a person who
imparts knowledge to students. Students are people who are studying science. The formulation of the
problem in this discussion is: "How is the Concept of Education according to Sheikh Az-Zarnuji in the
Book of Ta'limul Muta'alim" This thesis aims to obtain information and objectives regarding: what is
the right concept in Islamic education regarding the pattern of teacher-student relationships that
described by Az-Zarnuji in his book Ta'lim Muta'allim. This research is a qualitative research using
descriptive method. The method of data collection that will be used in this research is library research.
Therefore, the method that will be used is to collect data or literature relevant to the main problem that
is the target of research. In this study, literature or data are classified into primary data groups, and
secondary data groups. After the collected data is complete, the next thing the writer does is read, study,
research, select, and classify the relevant and supporting data, for further analysis, the writer concludes
in a complete discussion. From the results of the study indicate that, the concept of education according
to Sheikh Az-Zarnuji in the book Ta'lim Muta'allim: (1) The purpose of learning or Islamic education
according to Az-Zarnuji are: hoping for the pleasure of Allah SWT, seeking happiness in the hereafter,
eliminating bad luck from himself or from others, live the religion, and automatically Islam can be
sustainable, if the owner is knowledgeable. Zuhud and taqwa are invalid without knowledge. (2) In the
teaching and learning process AzZarnuji explains that the relationship between a teacher and his
students, the teacher must have a good personality, gentle attitude, compassion and educate. (3) The
relevance of the value of moral education in the book Ta'limul Muta'allim with the aim of Islamic
Religious Education.
