Abstract

This research was carried out with the aim of examining the effect of the teacher's role
as a motivator on the motivation to learn Arabic in class X students at MAPN 4 Medan. Data was collected
by using questionnaires, interviews, observation, and documentation techniques. The data analysis was
carried out using simple linear regression analysis techniques and product moment correlation analysis.
Based on the results of the analysis of the data obtained, there is a significant influence between the
teacher's role as a motivator for the motivation to learn Arabic in the class X students. And there is a
positive and strong relationship between the teacher's role as a motivator for the motivation to learn
Arabic in the class X students at MAPN 4 Medan. Thus, the better the teacher in carrying out his role as
a motivator, the more students' learning motivation will increase.
