Abstract
The problem raisedin this research is how to apply Islamic religious education learning
methods.This researchis classifiedas class room action research using a qualitative approach. The
research subjects of MTsS AL Husna Bagan Sinembah Raya in 2022. The data has been collected by
means of observation, questionnaires, and assignments. The results of this study indicate that the
learning process at MTs Swasta Al Husna Bagan Sinembah Raya runsquite effectively in accordance
with the basic concept of the learning processcarried out by educators in general, namely students
follow the learning processenthusiastically in Islamic Religious Education subjects. The learning
methodsused by teachers of Islamic Religious Education subjects at the Al Husna Bagan Sinembah
Raya. Vocational Schools include: lecture method, discussion method,question and answer method,
assignment. The use of these various methodscausesthe behavior of students to become better and looks
religious,forexampleby maintaining morals and character towards teachers and others. From the
observations and results of interviews conducted, it was found that most of the students expressed
pleasure inusing the lectureand discussion methodin understanding Islamic religious education
learning materials.
