Abstract

Every student in principle must be able to read the Qur'an. But not a few found many vocational school children in particular, who could not read the Qur'an. So that the inculcation of religious moral values in children that should be instilled from an early age cannot be instilled. Optimal learning of the Qur'an will give birth to Qur'anic generations who are able to prosper the earth with the Qur'an and save world civilization in the future. The absolute requirement for bringing up the Qur'anic generation is an understanding of the Qur'an which begins with being able to read the Qur'an properly and correctly in accordance with predetermined rules. This study aims to determine the efforts made in overcoming difficulties in learning to read the Qur'an for students of SMK Negeri 1 Tebing Tinggi. This research is a qualitative research that takes the object at SMK Negeri 1 Tebing Tinggi. The method used is interview, observation and documentation.
